IMPARTING - preface

“My opinions most likely have derived from the privilege of sitting with numerous young men and concluding that many men long to have a mature older spiritual brother that they can open up to and share with personally. They long for a safe location, a reliable brother, or a trustworthy small group of men with whom they can bare their hearts. The questions of life are numerous, and the issues of the heart are real, but the ability to find answers and direction can be hard. One of Satan’s falsehoods that trips up many is the lie, “You are in this alone.” Shame keeps countless men in a prison that honesty and vulnerability long to unlock. I have concluded that some type of discipleship method or a brotherhood model is the important link that needs to be pursued in our communities to continually shape our men.”
